SDM Configuration - Additional Tasks

Postby chrislss on Thu Mar 04, 2010 8:41 pm

I'm using GNS 3 to emulate a network and prepare for the CCNA Security. The lab is functional, and SDM can access the routers and execute most configuration changes.

The issue I am having is that the Additional Tasks screen under the Configuration window cannot be accessed. Clicking the Additional Tasks icon has no result, with the SDM interface remaining on the current screen. The system does not lock up, lag, or seem to process the request at all. Troubleshooting has including testing access on multiple computers (all using the FireFox browser), using different routers and using different versions of IOS, all with the same result. A basic configuration was placed on the routers to provide SDM connectivity.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, any input is appreciated!

Thanks. I am using firefox and had upgraded the browser to version 3.6 which will only use Java RE 6.10 or later. I downgraded to Firefox 3.58 and JavA 5.11 which is functioning well. IE with Java 6.6 will be tested.
