To revert the security configuration to the state before HP-UX Bastille was run, enter:

# bastille -r

If any manual actions need to be performed to restore the prior HP-UX Bastille state, the revert process creates the file var/opt/sec_mgmt/bastille/TOREVERT.txt. You must perform the actions listed in this file to complete the revert process.

After running the revert option, check the TOREVERT.txt file for any manual actions that must be performed to complete the revert process. The file is located in /var/opt/sec_mgmt/bastille/TOREVERT.txt .

NOTE: Besides some firewall options, reverting the system is the only way HP-UX Bastille will make a system less secure.
